North Highlands Nordic will be offering a Skate Ski lesson on Saturday February 12th at 2pm on the trails in Cape North. This is for adult skiers looking to learn or improve their skate ski technique. The fee for the lesson will be $10 for NHN members and $20 for everyone else, this includes your trail fees for the day. Please bring your own skate skis (we only have a couple of skate skis available for rent). For more information and to register please call 902-383-2479.



Ski Tuonela - Goose Cove 


Feb 8th - Fantastic skiing on the weekend including the Telemark and Switchback trails. Excellent powder, more snow forecast this week.  Trails are being groomed today..Upper trails are in excellent shape.

Cape Breton Highlands National Park

20 kms or return trails, 20 cm base, 5 Trails open. The warm up and wax hut buildings are now open and “cabins” at Black Brook & Mary Ann Falls are available for rent – 902-285-2691. Snow phone  285-2549.

 

Bell Bay Golf Club Trails, Baddeck

15 cm firm snow base and 10 cm of new snow. It will be groomed and ready again by mid day Thursday.

Bell Bay ski and snow shoe trails have 3 main loops totalling over 7 km of groomed trails and classic ski tracks set.
